Mold Remediation Explained

A negative pressure containment is a sealed area where air is pulled inwards using HEPA air filtration devices. Each containment will be equipped with a decontamination facility for personnel and items being removed from the containment.
Safely addressing mold contamination involves using engineering controls and compliant work practices. Common areas affected by mold include drywall, insulation, flooring, and HVAC systems. Once the mold-affected materials are removed, they are sealed in appropriate containers, labeled, and documented for proper disposal in compliance with regulations.
Upon final cleaning a third party industrial hygienist will perform a visual inspection to confirm all materials have been removed. Once visual inspection has passed, the industrial hygienist will perform final clearance sampling in compliance with applicable regulations for re-occupancy.
Upon achieving final clearance, the containment is carefully dismantled and all waste is properly disposed of in accordance with regulations. It is then transported to a licensed facility for proper disposal according to regulations. Upon completion of the project, you will receive a final remediation report including final clearance report.
