ACM Services, Inc. performed asbestos abatement services at Mitchell Hall, a nine-story residence hall on the campus of The George Washington University, encompassing 308 units and totaling approximately 101,000 square feet. Originally constructed in 1929, the building required comprehensive abatement in preparation for renovation and modernization efforts. The scope of work included the removal and disposal of 66,900 square feet of floor tile mastic, 500 linear feet of pipe insulation, 50 linear feet of mudded pipe insulation, 100 square feet of 12”x12” tan floor tile, and 4,400 square feet of 9”x9” brown floor tile.
