Project Description

ACM Services, Inc. delivered a comprehensive turn-key project involving both demolition and environmental services. The project began with asbestos abatement and continued with selective demolition and furniture removal across three levels of the church and four levels of the school. Temporary protection was installed over windows and skylights, and a subcontractor set up a steel debris chute to facilitate efficient waste removal. Structural demolition in the school included creating a new elevator pit and shaft, forming mechanical openings, trenching and excavation for new footers, and saw cutting both slab-on-grade (SOG) and elevated slabs. Exterior mechanical equipment was removed, and universal waste was properly collected and disposed of. Emergency snow cleanup services were also provided during the project. Shoring was subcontracted to support safe coordination between demolition activities and other trades. This project highlights ACM’s ability to manage complex, multi-phase efforts with precision, safety, and minimal disruption.
